Why swap a V8 into a jeep namely TJ? If i am not mistaken you want torque when off road not HP. So it seems to me the logical choice would be a 4.0L or stroker engine better yet diesel. ...

How much would it cost me to swap a V8 into my V6 Jeep Liberty 2008? I understand that an engine swap can be pretty expensive, I am just really looking for some insight into whether or not its worth it to upgrade.

Not to mention performance parts for a 5.7L non-LS are super cheap and budget .
Going to a 4.8/5.3/6.0 would mean replacing budget it would cheap swap for a v8.
Its a fuel injected v8 that is a MUCH simpler swap.
