Hello
I moved my 2.5 site from localhost to a server. FRontend site works perfect but the administrator/backend backend page does not load at all. It is like it does not exists. And no error message at all appears!!
Any advice

Hosting environment? The same settings in configuration.php for joomla 1.7 used to work.

I have observed this on 2 sites that I deleted the Joomla 1.5 files & databases and started over.
Since this is not widely reported, I don't think it's a Joomla bug.
Copy of 1.6.

In Joomla 2.5.0 (and J 1.7.4) the version is shown in the System Information and is no longer coded in the admin template for security reasons. This is inconvenient and this has been discussed in the Joomla BugSquad.
