I use a Wacom Bamboo fun tablet. I would like to jot notes using the tablet's pen. What software do you recommend for this? Handwriting recognition would be a plus.
(Assume the OS is Windows.)

I currently use a combination of Vim + the vimoutliner plugin to keep notes. To the vimmers out there, what tips, tricks, habits, tools, etc do you use to keep your collection of valuable nuggets of info organized?

It's not good for permanent....
I used shortcut away.
I find it's just using Vim as a note taking platform (in particular, using the Cornell Note Taking method).
While I exclusively use vim for coding, for regular notes I use Google Docs.

Do you take notes at/during the game?
Directly at the table, in the bathroom, secretly on your phone or obviously on a memo pad.
How do you keep track of the regs you play besides pure memory?

I use the note function on iPhone and just write up brief notes.....
On my phone.
I'll jot notes down into my cell phone, and try to keep it in my lap so nobody back though so that no one can see my phone.
But too distracting.

This is for all the serious golfers that practice with specific focus. Do you take notes during the round or what your instructors tell you, and how do you design your practice with those tasks in mind?
