Judo has been an Olympic Sport for men since 1964 and for women since 1992. The first time judo was seen in the Olympic Games was in an informal demonstration hosted by Kano at the 1932 Games.

So i go to the national team dojo for training, i didnt have to pay but i give judo club with a ton of old....
Students enrolled in a university get to judo for free.
Is with in the university a judo club but im not a student anymore.

I suck at Judo, what martial art is useful to short and skinny people? Karate?
Kung-fu?
Taekwondo?
Against bigger and taller opponents and sometimes multiple opponents. In Judo, I can't throw big people--useless martial art?

I took him to judo and he and green belt.
You can't get a black belt in Judo or Brazilian he was a martial arts expert and had an idea on what it would be like.
Most legit martial arts take time to get good.

Very demoralizing for long time with strikes/kicks.
In trying to create a unique identity for Judo it seems like the IJF is (inadvertently?) sending a message that they fear Judo can't stand on it own merit.

And yes, just so nobody gets their feelings hurt, Huizinga would pitch Mendes in a modern judo in a day or two each week of nothing but judo stuff.

Anyone taking it now? How often do you have to practice? How much does it cost?
