By now, I'm sure a lot of people will agree jQuery is pretty much the standard JavaScript framework (or as much as one can ever be). I mean, it has been adopted by Nokia and Microsoft.
Now that Google has put out it's own framework, is it worth my time...

Google has published a lot of tools and API stories over GWT, its made by google, is based on java, supported by IDEs like eclipse and is catching on fast.
I would wait to see if this gains traction.

Since there are 1500+ questions for google-app-engine, I was wondering:
what are people actually using it for? are they doing something for their companies or startups? are they just playing around with it because "the cloud is cool"? are they using it...

But with Google App Engine I would not have to pay at all unless I grew to a point where I was serving with the Google App....
The reason I chose Google App Engine is because I hope to get big enough to where I would need more than.

Ill open up Google Chrome and it will just get stuck loading my homepage and then just disappear.

It just disappears? Can you check and see when it disappears if a process of chrome.exe is still? YouTube and other video sites like that were crashing my Chrome.

Perhaps I am missing something, but I am just learning javascript.
My understanding of Single Origin Policy is that Google Analytics should not be able to send data back to Google.
How is it able to transmit send data to Google without violating the policy...
