Hi everyone,
Just had a couple questions about Herceptin. . . my doctor said that I am suppose to be on Herceptin for 52 weeks. He said the 52 weeks started when I had my first infusion of Herceptin (2/3/11), even though it was in parallel with chemo....

Then had to stop the Herceptin due to issues with lung damage from radiation from getting exposed they do okay....
I had to stop after just 4 weekly Herceptin infusion following the 18 weeks to miss the last two.
Different schedules.

None of these were significant enough to stop Herceptin, just enough to be noticeable nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2+....
I had horrible bone pain with the T and joint pain .
I just started Herceptin in December, after chemo, DD AC and T.

Hi all - am starting Herceptin next week after a MUGA scan on Monday. Any side effects from Herceptin I should be prepared for?? I'm a little nervous about the heart function issues. Will I know if I'm having problems?

I figured afraid, i mean i know why....
I chose to take Herceptin once a week just to take the lower dose.
Grade 3, 2/22 nodes, ER-/PR-, HER2+ Hi I started herceptin sept 24th with my last chemo and just muscle i had to stop.

Hi and thanks for responding.
And herceptin, I was really happy that I got into the treatment arm, there are no FDA approved targeted therpies for me because I'm triple negative, so I'm hopeful about herceptin.

Complete response in HER2+ leptomeningeal intrathecal ....
Just IV Herceptin for me.
