Cant Find Short In 5a "run" Circuit, Keep Blowing Fuses
I have a short in my 5A run circuit that pops fuses instantly. It seems to be a bad short. My audio wiring hasn't been hacked up at all and I have not modified the harness in any way. The RUN circuit...

Short? Today I was driving around and all of a sudden my blower motor kicks on high speed .
A short in ANY of these will blow the 5A RUN fuse.
They are all Purple / Orange.
Of these wires ..

Which fuse box/ which fuse are the tail lights? the ones that are always on at night, not the brake ones. both of mine went out, so I'm suspecting a fuse..

Once one of the tailight the blinker/hazzard ....
It was because of just crappy bulbs on those :P stupidpig ur badass that clears up one fuse whats of the fuse, as all of them driving by the same fuse 15 under your dash panel.

I was trying to disable my fuel pump the other day so i removed the fuse under the dash and to my surprise the fuel pump was still cycling with the key. THEN i replaced the fuse and noticed that when the fuse is in place the fuel pump just runs Constantly...

Mine was just a nick in the insulation but was enuff to blow fuse.
Tell me, does the tractor operate fine the wire, or some such .
For sure! Yeah, just run-down the circuit with a multi-meter.

Went for a ride yesterday to a friends house, and upon leaving, he asked about my added running lights below my fairing if they stayed on all the time. They're driving lights from advance auto parts, and I have them hard wired into my headlight circuit...

If you choose to run like....
You need to run the lights off.
Then use can safely use the headlamp circuit as the trigger for the relay, so that functionality will remain the same .
Of the many fuse box mods that you'll find online here.

A bad tap can increase current draw, too, just by being a little flaky.

I couldn't see how it would effect the engine....
Http://www.vintagebus.com wire going into the Main loom to the rear should be on the same side of the fuse as the Blk wire.
The car should start and run even with all of the fuses removed.

A little intro... All my lights worked before i performed a desmog. During the process i replaced the alternator, fusible link, and heady duty battery cables. My problem is that my fuse to the dash/running/tail lights keeps blowing. I have no front marker...

So i took out the whole connector so now its just the female(?) end exposed it.
I just went out to look at them they looked like the plastic connector had just went to dust and left two wires exposed.

Not all of the fuse positions are used, the unused ones have no clips, or sometimes just the "power? If that didn't work, I'd probably just bypass the fuse box and do an in-line fuse with new wiring in front of the tail....

I lost electrical power to the bridge fuse block that runs the accessories like radar, gps and vhf. All other 12v accessories not associated with that block, such as the blowers and nav lights still work as they are another fuse block elsewhere. Nothing...

The bridge accessories breaker powers installed fuse....
Sometimes corrosion builds up installed fuse block on the helm...they just didn't do that.
run it down and check connections from the fuse block back to the batt.
