I recently moved and I am getting no reception on my sprint phone. According to the coverage maps there is no sprint coverage in my area, but there is Nextel device coverage. I am not too sure exactly what this means. I would appriciate some clarification...

Nextel is a separate network that was acquired by Sprint some years ago and is now being the Sprint network and the Nextel network is that they are two completely different technologies in it and is just not compatible....

I live in Southern California (San Diego) and travel to Baja Mexico almost every day for work, up until now iDen Nextel PTT has been great since I can keep communicated across the border with no additional fees, in fact you can even get data...

Hey just curious how many of you Nextel/Iden subscribers will leave sprint once they stop offering nextel/iden? I know atleast 3 of our lines are going to be canceled anyone else?

Its the same PTT would fit our needs....
Sprint has released its own PTT called Sprint Direct Connect to take place of the nextel.
Is it the heavy duty phones? The PTT?.
What is it about Nextel that you like? Just curious.

Apparently sprint/nextel has cut coverage areas but expects to still be paid for phones that no longer work and have no intention of releasing us from our contracts, I just spoke with customer service and was told that my contract with them guarantees...
