Which U-Joints Did You Choose?
Hello All, I'm about to take my 93 Mk 8 driveshaft to get some new U-joints & balanced for my 1997 t-bird, My questions are as follows..
1- When you purchased new u-joints did you buy thunderbird u-joints or 93 mk8 ujoints...

Everything else in your driveline, they also use them in Semi-trucks .

we can´t find the right u-joint for the 4x4 driveshaft at front axle to the diff.
the double u-joint at the transfer case is not the problem
but the u-joint at frontaxle is a mager problem

1330/7290 U-joint part number is 2-0355 The Expert - K350 - Information for driveshafts, u shaft and yoke.
And I got one from a truck a few years newer and the u-joint did not fit in my yoke so I had to get yoke.

How much will it cost to buy a new one? I'm pretty sure it's the U Joint. The whole car shakes when I slow down.

Try a driveshaft speciallist too a 2004 FX4 and my ....
I have looked on e bay for a used one but don't really know what you you mark the ends to reassemble the u-joint the same way.
Trying to replace the old u joint.

Requires with a Pirate vendor a few years ago, pretty much every 300M u-joint (regardless of brand) for the respective application is....

These are the Spicer life series not 80 isnt it? when i was searching for a u-joint for my truck i ran into a similar issue.
I just replaced a front u-joint in my 2002 4wd.

I think? I have a squeak when turning in 4x4 and I'm guessing it's a u-joint.
Cut one old U-joint out .The new universals were expensive but it's going together now.

It spins freely, but it's not loose sliding forward towards the trans. Do you usually just stick a pry bar in the u-joint and pry it forward? Maybe I just need a little more force.... I was just nervous to pry it hard.

Then used a chisel in the center of the u-joint - Service....
It seems to work faster the plastic around the cap and it came shooting out .
After a few minutes on the middle one, and much quicker on the rear U Joint.

Hey guys - does anyone have one these they can part with (pardon the pun)? It's the bottom of the U-Joint shield, and trust me - it makes a racket when it's rubbing again the universal.

You have to take parts, not that u-joint thingie.ill get back to you i know i have one but i may not have the bolts.
For the x-member get a BB, hands down.
That piece of crap around the front DS u-joint.
