It's not a secret.
Just like biological children are taught.

Why do some adopters think it is okay not to tell their child / chilfren they are adopted? I really cannot understand why some adopters think it's acceptable to lie. I understand adopters wanting to protect their child / children and that is acceptable...

If it is just a bit, I'd wait.
Congrats it depends on how long "too long" is.
Baths dry their skin out badly.
And if that doesn't work it should just wear off with time.
