What's the best defrag tool for a web / database server running windows 2008 server?

The built-in defragment tool of Windows is not the best one. I heard that there are a ton of better ones out there - but which one is really good?

I use Magical Defrag , It is pay software at about $20 it to a directory and it will defrag....
But it's portable and appears to work.
The Microsoft defrag utility is a limited version (severly) of the Diskeeper disk.

Someone told me that it is not always a good idea to defragment a minimally fragmented drive (<2%); and that it could cause performance issues.

Like any other hard disk, virtual hard discs (*.vhd) will suffer from fragmentation.
So to keep good performance i guess i have to defrag first the virtual hard disc from within the virtual machine and also the (physical) hard disc the .vhd is stored ...

Have a few servers and they have not been de-fragmented for two years. Is there a standard for what percentage should be fragmented before defragmenting?
The servers are Windows 2003.

Should I spend the time and effort to defragment the external drive and backup file using a utility like MyDefrag...

It just means that the file is not all as the OS sees it, it just sticks it together on the disk, meaning reading and writing it is much faster.
Is not the issue, defragmentation is not neccesarily bad.
