I don't know if its just because MCAT season is well underway but I have been seeing a lot of trash talk about Kaplan and how their resources really aren't great. How true is this?

Exam krackers books were a fraction of the cost and much better of no other replies .
I did exactly what the Kaplan method when I took the kaplan course.
That I found the live courses helpful in were the writing sample.

I'm debating between Kaplan or Princeton study prep-courses. I work very well in classroom settings (I could easily study independantly, but I feel being in a structured classroom setting...

Driving to the location material, TPRH is better than Kaplan....
I agree classroom is a major waste of time.
I've heard good things about TPR, and only bad things about Kaplan (though I know quite a few people who got 30+ with Kaplan).

My suggestion is if you are qualified to sit for CPA .
Do you have a fee bracket in mind to complete extra courses to qualify for CPA.
I dont know about mit but kaplan is like a low cost institute...

Personally, the Kaplan class was a huge help 12 over that ~2.5 month period....
On my actual MCAT, I ended up scoring a 36Q .
I started in the end of May and took my MCAT, I scored a 24 .
I took the in-class Kaplan course.
