It kinda sounds like Dave Whittenberg(Kefka from Dissidia), but someone told me it's Patrick Warburton... who has a distinctly different voice.

For me it just has to be Kefka. Although I played it as a child I seemed to hate Terra and Celes and like Kefka. Edgar from FF6, Basch, Balthier, and Vayne Solidor from FF12 are some personal favorites, as well as Logue from Eternal Poison, Shu and Luca...

The timer will vanish, Shadow will come, and you....
WAIT!
More specifically, when you reach the edge of the continent and the game asks if you want to wait or jump, you select wait, and wait until the timer ticks all the way down to less than 10 seconds .
