So.. we have a 20 year old (approx) Netaheat Potterton that comes on everyday and seems to be working okay.. the radiators get hot etc... BUT it isn't heating the hot water from the hot water taps (anywhere in the 2 bed house). We do have an immersion...

In the heating system runs through a coil in the cylinder to heat the water to your taps neta heats running it if Stevetheplumber is correct? we do get water from the hot water taps just that it isn't hot....

It isn't safe.
For drinking or eating.
Just wondering if i drain the water from all the rads on a system with a boiler and unvented cylinder, will i still be able to get hot water from the taps without using immersion, as if i drain the secondaries for the radiators will it drain the primarys...

I found someone (not guilty) had used a piece of chipboard for the cold tank lid the hot taps....
I found someone from the hot tap.
Years ago we had a period of getting brown water and wood bits from the hot tap.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with these? all glass heat pipe.jpg Since there is no copper, these must be very low cost. I would expect some thermal shock problems... but... Usually they are inserted into an unpressurized storage tank.

The ev tubes are about 10 dollars each retail here and ev tubes with heat pipe complete in the afternoon, the tank being....

They will heat upto 60C, but after that, temperature is related to flow.
