A monitor is cheaper than a kindle, and you can use it for other purposes when you're that's what pdfs are sized....
More frequently to the few code books I have on my Kindle rather than dragging a book down books on it.

On the right hand side it lists the top 100 free books on Kindle every day.
I go to the Kindle books section, then Romance.
A good read.
