Hi all i'm using the TH30 and a 2x12 indoors. I started off on the 7w mode with the clean volume at 9 oclock and the dirty volume at 9 oclock with the gain at 2 oclock. The amp sounded ok at this volume but now i am playing the amp on 30w with the volume...

There's actually a legal limit now: http an iLok for authorisation at an added cost.

One possibility on OSX is to use a terminal command:
#include <cstdlib> system("osascript -e \"set Volume 5\"\n");
(Of course, you may change ' 5 ' to whatever you like; The range seems to be between 0 and about 7.5 (?))

How loud is the engine? Is the engine of a Slayer Pro 4x4 loud? There are triplets next door and if they wake up they start shriking. Might get one, so need to know the loudness. Just hit the gas, it'll make it...

I just purchased a new MacBook Pro Unibody 15" (summer 2009). I'm comparing it to a MacBook Pro Unibody 15" (late 2008) model. The speakers on the older one seem to sound louder and more clear to my untrained ear.

Maybe to save battery? i don't know but it is actually quite annoying since i really enjoyed, but you then might want to pay close....
Apple support knows nothing about any design...
Quality of the newer one is OK, just not loud enough.

Also how low is too low?
I have 2 tunes I've been working on the last week and one is mixed to a peak of pretty much 0 with an RMS of around -10dB for the whole thing and around 7.5dB for the loud section with the bass.
I did a version of the other tune...

I recently downloaded an spl meter for my iPad to find out how loud my normal listening volume is. Apparently I listen in the high 70 db's range. A loud peak for me is up to 85db.
This really has me wondering about how much power I really need for a stereo...
