I need to know if International Festivals prefer 24p or 25p.
I'm in the UK and my Canon 600D (T3i) has 24p and 25p. I'm aiming to submit mainly to European festivals, in the UK, Spain, Germany etc.

The main impact at 24 fps would be on the sound pitch, so if you're planning for European festivals 25p would make sense... .

They don't care, if in Europe they'll play back video at the standard European video frame rate .

Just purchased my new 618 with merc 175 proxs and it came with a 24p tempest. i've read alot about people with 23p temps and 24p furys but not the 24p tempest. my dealer clams the boat will run 70 to 72 around 5800 to 5900rpms. sounds to good to be true...

FCP X Does the Magic!!!! (30p to 24p pulldown) Well...I found out about a nice little feature in FCP X. It will automatically pulldown HV20 29.97 footage shot in 24p, and make it actually 24p!

First, how difficult is it to capture JVC's true 24p onto the latest version of Final Cut Technik with Zeiss lenses.
It's also the only camera in its category, for what I know questions.
It's an excellent camera for the price.

Appreciate reply had been my intention; but it appears that without function of 2:3 insertion correctly to 24p with Sorenson or AvidDVD software.
Don't know what best solution is.
Shows smooth playback on NTSC and HD monitors.

What exactly is the benefit of playing a BD back in 24p? I recently purchased a Panny 110 and it has this option. I turned it on, and it played on my older DLP TV from 2007.

Showthread.php?t=5313 If your TV has proper 24p support (when I bought my HDTV a few years ago, many did not, even if they were able to display 24p signals), the motion will be slightly smoother about 24p than frame interpolation....

Just purchased a s27a750d and I'm trying to get any media player to playback videos at 24fps. The video details all say they are recorded at 23.... fps and they look amazing when played back on my 54inch sony. Absolutely no judder. Played on this monitor...
