OUT: Pau
IN: Nash (S&T for about $9m), Frye ($5.6), Childress ($6m)
I know the long term contracts of Frye/Childress stink, but would it be worth it for Nash? I wouldn't want Childress, but I think Suns insist we take him either as part of the Pau trade...

Think about it, he's a perfect fit. A veteran PG that Kobe will respect, a player that even at 38 is still a top 5 in the league and could give us exactly what we need in 1 package. Great outside shooting, spreading the floor, creating off the dribble...

So this deal is based on if Nash signs with Toronto (which has some legs to it).
Toronto send: Andrea Bargnani + Amir Johnson
Lakers send: Pau Gasol
Toronto receives: Pau Gasol
Lakers receives: Andrea Bargnani + Amir Johnson
Why for Toronto? Pau Gasol...

Assuming we land Nash, having him....
The iL.
Bargnani is younger, cheaper, and fits a Nash offense much more.
Tank Fail 2012 Toronto passes.
Nash would.
He is younger and better able to spread the floor .
I would rather keep bargnani.

Beating the Spurs in four?
Back-to-back MVP?
Playoff runs to the Western Conference Finals?
Overtime games against Nets/Mavericks?
Shootout between Nash and Arenas?
What was your favorite moment during the Nash era?
For me, it was the 2006 playoff run...

What the heck happened there?

Nevermind, I read further and found out the Suns just have the Clippers number taking 13 out of their last 14 meetings. But still, even without Nash and...

I'm almost tempted to put Rondo in the PG slot at each position" discussion looks like....

Interesting article on how things look to play out with Nash and Suns managing cap space. I think Nash is definitely going to re-sign with the Suns, and the Suns need to take the steps to maximize cap space to go after free agents and renouncing the rights...

Paul Quote: : "I definitely do want to win," Nash told Patrick. "I'm not going to come back to the Suns if there isn't an improvement, if they're not ambitious and they're not looking to upgrade the roster seriously. And I think they are. They'll have...

Steve Nash won MVP honors. I think both he and Shaq deserved it equally, so it was basically a coin toss. And on a side note, PJ Brown (you must be thinking who the hell) got a vote for MVP cantidate and Kobe Bryant did not get a single vote. What do ...

1. Trade West and Collison to the Lakers for Gasol
Why for LA -- accomplishes dual goals of turning Pau into help at multiple positions, while also saving them money. In fact, Collison allows them to let Sessions walk with saves them even further cash...

I don't see how The Lakers would take a West and how they would have the cap room to sign... .
Could go into the summer of '13 with only Kobe and Bynum taking up major cap space and be in a really is a guy Kobe likes and wants to have there.
