My fastest boat is only a BJ26 but I've read through a lot1500 to 1600 kv should give you a good reliable setup for twins.

If you have a 540
XL-6 XL (6 turn) motor, it has a Kv rating of 27.
If you have a
540 XL-14 XL (14 turn) motor, it has a Kv rating of 1191.
The Kv rating of each.
