Kv rating So Im not sure if Im right. I know that there is alot of things that determine speed, but is a 5000kv motor faster than than a 4000kv motor?

With castle and their higher end motors, the kv rating and price are all very similar, it's not until you://www.scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/top_speed.html to simulate top speed (THEORITICAL) and compare KV, gearing purchase the better....

XL-6 XL (6 turn) motor, it has a Kv rating of 27.
If you have a
540 XL-14 XL (14 turn) motor, it has a Kv rating of 1191.

Hi
I have a ABB R-Mag 27 kV Outdoor breaker. Relay is SEL 451. I have been told by ABB that tripping current for the breaker ED2 motherboard is 20 mili Amps.
Relay is 120 ft away from the breaker wired through a 125 VDC 10C #10 AWG conductor.

I've seen many R-Mag Breakers Wired to SEL Relays with the standard contacts .
.5 Amps is for 48 V DC.

If it is loaded heavily in relation to its max power rating? In other words is it possible to have motors compare (eg Kv) ?
For a given motor, the output power will be roughly a scaled product of the current and revs.

Always gear for heat. I second that.
But the kv thing I only partly agree with. Kv rating relates to power and speed.
But back to topic, the motor you are looking at will work. I would suggest buying a few pinion gears, smaller sizes. 15, 16, 17, 18 tooth...

Kv ratings really don't matter when they are close in kv and in similar vehicles.
Generally you take the kv rating and muliply it by the voltage and not aluminum.
Gearing can even them out to a point.
