YES! TGLs are the most predictive and yours are very low. An HDL/TGL
ratio below three is good, and yours is 1.37!

The smaller your LDL
particles....
The NMR LIPO Profile is for particle count.
Does direct count of LDL particle size, HDL
subfractions, VLDL subfractions, IDL, LP(a) and a few other things.
Is for particle size.

Are you on a statin? I ask because your LDL is very low....
Even if it's
over 500, large, fluffy LDL particles are not harmful for
cardiovascular disease, and LDL is the least predictive.
The less damaging VLDL you have.

With LDL (bad C) the bigger particles don't "clog" like the smaller deadlier particles.

If LDL is around 160 ish you will never have will all be fluffy, billowy and you have very few if any small dense particles.
And you have very few if any small dense particles.

So this will be my third attempt at trying to convert my small and dense LDL to large and fluffy. I did the fish oil/carnitine for 2 months and although it reduced my trigs to a rock bottom 38 and my over all chl to 157 it did nothing for my LDL. I then...

You could have a high LDL but its meaningless if its all light and fluffy.
It determines particle size of your LDL, HDL.
From a chl test you need to have the LipoProtien test done .
