Next month I'll be having a trans-vaginal u/s to check the competency of my cervix after having had a LEEP procedure.
Has anyone had a problem following your LEEP?

I had the Leep procedure done about 6-7 years before I got pregnant but had no issues whatsoever due delivery.

It wasn't painful to have and prior to the procedure I drove myself into a panic thinking the worse.

While they did ease my mind.
I was terrified too.
A xannex to take on the day of my leep and said to take it at 6:00 am and my procedure is scheduled colpo and my leep and i tortured myself looking at horror stories online.

I'm having a LEEP done this coming Tuesday (1/24) and then onto a hysterectomy on 1/27. I'm so worried that the LEEP is going to hurt. I've read it doesn't but the shots to numb the cervix can hurt some. Ughhhh! I just can't wait until it's all over with...

My last pap came back abnormal, so on Monday they performed a colposcopy and took a biopsy. The nurse called today to say the biopsy came back with a moderate abnormality and he does want to perform a LEEP to remove the abnormal cells.
