Hi! For those of you that use lampworked beads in your creations, I was wondering what types of sets/focals do you like to purchase? Does it make a difference if the person includes spacers? Do sets have to be matching beads, or is coordinating colors...

I have some bead sets with other beads.
I like to work with focals and a few coordinating beads, or focals alone.
I just buy what I like.
I never have anything in mind when I purchase a bead or beads.
And Barb.
These beads change color (light blue in fluorescent light and lilac in natural or incandescent light).

I can't wait to see what the bead looks like! Ron purple rose or EDP with a clear core.....
Made a bead with it, and MAN is that nice glass!! It turned a gorgeous vibrant purple/pink and was not shocky AT ALL even though it was a thick rod.

In the January issue of Beads & Beyond and we have 7 categories for you to enter.
I am still somewhat new to lampworking, and I am self taught. The biggest problem I have still is encasing beads! I can't seem to figure out how the best way to do it is!! If you have any tips or tricks any help would be wonderful

Moment for encasing was understanding to not have the bead in the flame as I am adding the hot.
