Pulled the trigger on a 2006 LR3. It has 117K miles but just had over $6000 worth of fixit work done, including all new tires/brakes, etc.
Anybody have a LR3 that can share their experiences with it? Mine has the 6 cylinder because I've heard how thirsty...

My bad for some reason....
I had an '04 Discovery II a few years back that needed head gaskets of the fan club .
Car needs 6k worth of work that doesn't include engine / trans??? If it was Land Rover service..$6K doesn't go far.
Also what 6 y.o.

15000 mi = leak finally fixed
17000 mi = blown engine (on a Bay Area bridge! Not fun...)
18000 mi = blown engine #2 (in a busy intersection)
18300 mi...

Might be able to get a good deal on rims with tires. Wondering if they will fit without an issue? And Keep my 18"'s for winter & A/T tires.

Land Rover did seem to come up with new part numbers and Brake Pads part numbers for 4.4L V8 petrol LR3
This link is a pdf of the lug nut on the LR3.
You should be OK with LR4 19" rims.

Probably a moronic question and I usually know the answer, but this is my first LR3 I have owned so I'm not too sure if it's common. I plan on changing the oil myself sometime next week. I checked the oil level today and it's just at the "min" level. ...
