I don't know what language you're trying a big vocabulary to really be able to understand....
Many are free, or free with premium especially for listening comprehension and pronunciation .

Hake grammar is also independent, but no DVDs.
I would go with Analytical Grammar because they have the DVDs that teach the lessons .
