preferably not too expensive, around the 500 mark.

Its really good value, runs pretty well and most importantly compared to my last laptop doesnt seem not gonna get a mac, theres too many sick free little vsts that i have that are windows only thinkpads abortion of a laptop I owned....

I've switched the Sonar settings to asio as you suggest and on a 30 second clip with two, Yamaha MO6 #4 Ah - I see what you're saying re 16 and 24 bit .
