Hello Fellow Golfers
I have been reading alot about golf rangefinders and come up with this conclusion that the GPS can give you the yardage for the front, middle and back of the green, but not the laser. But the laser...

I have a Leupold GX-3, which for a GPS over a laser is if you play courses with a lot of blind shots.
Laser all the way.

Topcon Millimeter GPS vs Trimble GPS I am about to purchase a Base and Rover system and then eventually add machine control. Does trimble offer anything as accurate as topcons millimeter GPS? im leaning towards trimble but i want to be more than .30 accurate...

If you get out of sight of the laser, you lose the advantage, but I believe trimble has a mast that reads a laser is ....
The millimeter GPS gets its really tight accuracy from a laser plane in conjunction with the GPS.

Apart from installing....
There was a little adjuster on the laser which you could tweak to raise the output power, which would be ok for a minute or so then it would start jumping again - the extra power warmed up the laser and reduced its output.

I'm looking for another way to display AGL altitude (Above Ground Level). I use a hand held laser range finder now.
My pal says there is probably a GPS with that capability.
Anyone familiar with these?

To download a golf gps app on my phone due to it being a nusense to have my phone on the course is fairly major in my opinion.
It I sold my laser unit which was a monumental PITA to use compared to the GPS device.
