I'm trying out fring and Skype on the Nokia E72.
After fring installation (Fring v4.1.12), tried the Fring Test Call and it worked.
Next, I installed Skype v1.0.2, then tried the Skype Echo Test Call, which also worked.
After going back to Fring to test...

This VoIPAudioSrv conflict is crazy.
I have Skype version 1.0.2 Fring 4.2.7, e72 with latest updates.

So, I have this problem on my laptop: I was using 3.5.0.214 version of Skype and after AVG installed some updates on 5.04.12 it started to cause BSOD every time I tried to open Skype. I'm not 100% positive that AVG causes it, but each time BSOD appeared...

There was a time in the version numbers that even though object to this.
I find the latest versions of Skype to be big and bloated.
Problem at the moment with Skype is the way you cannot turn off the auto-updates.
