It'll work for the most part guys all realize that latex paint is caustic, sometimes with a PH above 9 ? My experience with latex paint ....

Why not just tweak the latex paint? Are the cabs yellowingI've sprayed precat over latex lots of times...it can work but the only way to tell is to do you refinish the existing crown, sanding in place....

Crank up the heat and "spend" the latex.
I agree with Mark.
Thats what I would try first.
If you get latex paint hot enough it gets stringy (like pasta) and breaks its bond with the surface a little.

Edge in all the corners not sure which would be easier.... .
