Can someone please help me on the law here In SA.
I know for commercial photographs where you sell it like on istockphoto then i will need a model release.
But regarding the editorial photographic...

I know it's complicated due to how publishing works that; and there are many people on the outside of publishing houses looking in (agents, writers, retailers) who would to worry about in terms....
That and make it less difficult to navigate.

The "editor" in question doesn't seem that bothered about law ...
A professional, business to let them "edit" her story.
ALWAYS get a publishing contract checked over by a lawyer before signing it.
