LG Lyra-B5: Cleaning the Lens Hello Guys,
I have the Lyra-B5 from LaserGlow, I bought it from Trevor's GB while ago.
I have problem with the lens, I have already try with everything, cannot be cleaned
Do anyone knows if it has Plastic lens?

Hey guys,
A couple of my T2i lenses need cleaning. The Rokinon 8mm has a smear, and the kit lens has a few small water droplets on it.
What's the safest/best method of cleaning them? What are the best tools to use, and what is the best technique?

@JuanMartinezRX8 I bought a really cheap box of pre-moistened lens cloths a while ago, for my old problems.
You can get cleaning kits for cheap.
Wipe it with your shirt.

Lens cleaning fluid? Was told breathing fog from your mouth on your lenses can be corrosive? So looking for some cleaning fluid.
I looked at some Zeiss fluid at Walmart...made in China! Zeiss has gone to hell!!

How much does it cost to clean all those fungus (restore back they will check for you if the lens is worth cleaning or not.

Which cleaning cloth for lenses?
Possibly a silly question but is there a recommended cleaning cloth for lenses (maybe a hidden bargain) or should I just stick with the Pentax/Calotherm glasses cloths from the opticians?

Use a dry piece As well when cleaning optics....
Add the cleaning liquid to the tissue paper and wipe the lens in a circular motion.
Buy a lens cleaning kit that come with tissue paper.
Just kidding.

Pl explain to me the CORRECT way to clean a lens!
I put a UV filter on my new Nikon 18-200 to protect the glass.
I'm alomost too scared to clean it!!
I assume to just wipe the body of the lens and camera down with a lightly damp cloth does...

Do
Rob If you are using a UV filter then you only need to blow the glass of the lens with proper blower/brush.
Available at most camera stores.
Buy a "Lens-Pen" they are small to carry around and do the job.

You also get lens cleaning this....
Its a methyl alcohol detergent based cleaning soln.works amazing.
However I use "Jenova" lens cleaning solution.
And other coatings, so am not comfortable using this on lenses.

Anyone got tips on cleaning lens hoods? The hood for my 85L is getting rather dirty and i'm wondering if there's any tips to cleaning without damaging it?

The best stuff to clean anything and be gentle AFAIK is the stuff they use to clean oil off the feathers....
