Hey,
My wife had super low Vitamin D levels; Doc got her on 2,000 IU's a day but that did nothing. She felt sick (not cold or flu) a lot, shaking, allergies, pins & needles on the skin, etc.
Bumped her up to 16,000 for a couple days in a row and backed...

If someone is adjusting their vitamin D level they should have blood work, 13.95@99.7....
vitamin D it takes large doses for a while (like 14 days) to get the level up to normal, then the dose the lever is in the proper range.

Regarding vitamin....
Edited like fish might have stated lower levels of vitamin D, your body might be able to absorb more and supplements.
levels of vitamin D, your body might be able to absorb more of it than from a pill.

On August of 2010 was the first time i had my Vitamin D checked and it was 12.9
After being on a high dose of Vitamin D pills for a little over 6 weeks it went up to 23.9
Last month is was checked again and it's down to 18
Anyone else having a hard time...

I can't remember, but is Calcitrol have Vitamin D in it? I use to take plain Calcium....
I hear ya transplant I still have problems with Vitamin D.
So far it seems to be working.
I take Dylavite-D to help keep my Vitamin D levels up.

You can also obtain a decent amount of Vitamin D by direct sunlight. It needs to be at least 15 mins. I usually take a walk or sit outside on sunny days...i cant stand milk, and limit any other dairy, so this works for me.

So guys im using flinstones multi vitamins and well it tastes like junk lol and reading it it doesnt have much of what we need what are you guys taking?....also with a good multi vitamin would i need a separate b12 and separate vitamin d suppliment?

Yes you should have a seperate b12 either citrate and mix it with a little Powerade Zero .
Centrum silver is a good one.
I take 2 one a day gummies everyday and a b-12 pill plus calcium citrate with vitamin d the one an adult vitamin.
