I have an inline atomizer pumping co2 into my Mini M and there are micro bubbles that float all around the tank.
Many of them get caught in my Drop-Checker, to the point where unlike drop checkers in most tanks where the air pocket in the drop checker...

My levels started at 824 the day we found out we m/c, and a week later 116, and then hoping next from experience, and also that day was a complete fog to me).

This whole thing is so confusing! Just an update on here: Mine took 14 weeks to drop in the end, they eventually diagnosed me as having a partial molar pregnancy.

Which means that 2 A-levels would be acceptable.

I started on 75 IU with 4 potential follicles....
The lowest my RE had me do was 50 and even that didn't really grow much, it actually made a lot fizzle out .
IU is hardly anything, I remember your story though and can understand why he's being conservative .
