I got some Fly Racing boots that look nice, are well armored, but seam HUGE and there is no way to get the boot under the shift lever on my 954. Is this normal? Can you raise the shifter? BTW I am a size 12.

It helps with comfort for different rider heights, preference a difference .
The shift lever does have to go through all that soft material that are in normal skater shoes the shift linkage is a must-do in my book.

Doesn't turn with the lever...lets call these the "no-turn" washers....I reckon the plastic one goes against the lever to give a bit of friction.
