Just wanted to mention a find I saw at Walgreens yesterday. Libby's canned pumpkin (not pie filling) is on sale for $0.80 a can. Stock up!

Once a spicey pumpkin/squash pie so I use ginger, cloves, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg as well as a bit of molasses.

Put your empty pie pan lined with the crust on a cookie sheet. Opne the oven and pull out the rack put the cookie sheet on the rack and then pour the filling in to the pie pan. then slowly push the rack back into the oven. Then you will not dump the pie...

Anytime there is this much pumpkin in the batch there will be plenty of stuff floating around .

That's why I use US-05; it's nice and clean.
Up two cans of the Libby's pumpkin pie mix, but it turns out it's not the "unspiced" kind that will cover up the delicious pumpkin pie flavors.
