I'm developing an HTML newsletter system using PHP & PEAR. It sends out the emails fine.
However I cannot force Apple Mail to reload images from the server. I have tried:

The image in mail doesn't change - whichever picture shows when you first look at the email from the Apple Mail group to enlighten us to a real fix!

Hello out there, I am new at this.
All of a sudden, mail.app is malfunctioning. Receiving activity bar gets as far as 9 of 75 and stops.
Server shows all mail is there, but not receiving into mail program for days now. Leopard, imac G5.

Earlier today, my Mail program hiccupped and deleted some messages from my In box, then stopped downloading mail from my server (although a test message I sent myself did download). I've already tried the following:

Not a big deal, but when I want to d/l patch 5 via the built-in updater (in p4), the e-mail address and security code fields have a black foreground and background. Makes typing kinda difficult. See attached image.

Check the ~/Library/Mail/*yourWho's your mail provider? That's a big thing sometimes with apple mail.
Tried to send a message that is too big and hung up the IMAP account .

I've got 2 gmail account in my mac mail. One of them stopped display new mail on 24/5/2012. The last mail that I've got is 23:45pm 23/5/2012. When I try to get new mail for that mail box, the mail ativity shows they are loading 43 incoming messages...

Cannot send problem to apple since the program isn't useable. When I attempt "relaunch" I get the same message again. It tells me "the application mail quit unexpectedly. Mac OS X and other applications are not affected" Advice?/
