Take the money you would spend and set on for something .
Some will come out on extended waranties but most do not.
They only work because they are profitable for a company .

In my opinion the extended versions are definitive if you want to be immersed in Middle Earth, watch....
I think the extended versions are far superior, especially The Two Towers and Return of the King time to give them all adequate treatment.

Which is your favourite Extended Edition Scene?
I love the scene with the Mouth of Sauron, such a weird character I don't know if it should have been in the film, but I think the Saruman scene at the start of ROTK should have been in.
