As the light has a little roof that keeps the beam low to the ground.

If you look at the design of a projector the sides and rear of the globe, reflect off the reflector and get projected by the glass lense.
The light because the light coming out the front of the globe.

One of my brake lights was playing up and working intermittently so I thought the two silver solders on the plug the globe connects two was faulty so I got a soldering iron and forgot the lights were still on and touched the soldering iron to the round...

Where are the indicator & Daytime light globes. Ok so i just upgraded to a B8 and removed one of the headlights to replace one of the globes to a Phillips diamond vision but couldnt work out how do you change the indicator and daytime globes? Is it possible...

I suspect the they are not meant for replacement but in the event you have to access them you need to cut the flat rectangular section or round section in the lower middle and lower right part of the black plastic in photo 3 .

I'm looking for a set of H8 globes, preferably like phillips super whites or some thing along those lines. Any Ideas ? I know Makro used to sell but cant seem to find any there

There are 2 shops I know....
The whole plastic holder around the globe melted, I only noticed when the globe blew and i was going to take it out, I had to actually break the bulb out which Flea Market.
I had with these "XENON EFFECT" bulbs.

H7 Globes ( Bulbs) Bulb blew in the Headlight, so replaced the Phillips Extra Vision's that were a distinct improvement over the previous ones, whatever they were, with the new Phillips X-treme Vision.
