This may sound like a silly question and opposite of other people's complaints about their pigs chewing everything...My girls don't chew anything (except food and hay, of course). I know guinea pigs teeth continually grow and they need things to chew ...

I am 2 weeks pre-op for vertical sleeve. I've read where some people feel lots of hunger after their surgery. Does anyone know if there would be a problem with chewing sugarless gum? I have found that if I stick a piece in my mouth when I'm hungery it...

I was told no way, no how, no nada on the gum chewing....
I was told absolutely no gum chewing post surgery, although I can't for the life of me remember chewing post surgery, although I can't for the life of me remember the reason they gave.

It's a comfort thing. it makes me feel a bit easier going instead of tense. I will chew anything paper rubber plastic anything. Is there any way of helping me stop this and perhaps replacing it with another comfort thing that isn't quite as destructive...

DS is heading for 5, but anytime he has meat he will spend ages chewing it and maybe eventually swallow it or not. Doesn't matter what meat it is, its always the same.
He loves a mash dinner but I just can't get him to eat meat.
