For those of you who aren't members or followers of the Fiso Harriers, I've taken the plunge to partake in the London Marathon this year.

Is there a way to have FaceBook chat in Windows Live Messenger kind of like the way Digsby does it? Like, without making my friends get Windows Live accounts. Is this possible? I have the latest version and I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate.

I'd recommend.
Facebook is based on XMPP like gChat , iChat, AIM ...
Client that supports the XMPP protocol (ie Digsby, Pidgin, GTalk, iChat) to chat on Facebook, however is only for WLM and Yahoo chat .

Is it possible to prevent some startup programs from running when I log in to my Windows Vista desktop via Remote Dekstop.
I was hoping for a solution much like "Capster" which when added to a startup shortcut will only run the executable in it's argument...

I tried Trillian Astra beta a couple of months ago, or I should say "I wanted to try".
I applied for one of those test invites, downloaded it, installed it and it crashed before I got to try it and I went over to Digsby....

Digsby does.
Just got used to the way Digsby lets me handle emails such as reporting spam.
I looked at Digsby but didn't see any compelling to Digsby.
I really like that feature.

I just reinstalled windows, and what a surprise when I install WLM. What a piece of loaded crap. Not even patching it.
So I'm looking for alternatives, can you recommend one?
I've tried pidgin before, and even though is good, I don't like the responsiveness...

All of the sudden some of the people I talk to using gchat through adium has been coming out in an HTML format.
Had this problem before, and it seemed to fix itself.. but this time it isn't stopping.
So far it seems to only be with other people using ...
