Are BP firearms really firearms? I have heard around that a black powder firearm is not classified under federal law as a firearm. For instance , I have a friend who, as a kid, was into gangs, drugs etc. spent time in jail and is now felon. He was told...

It's just a type of propellant.
Black powder, per se, has no legal significance under federal law as to the classification of a firearm.
As a firearm or not.
And some places, they're treated like any other firearm.

I like Firearms better than "guns"... it just sounds more professional imo.

Gun, firearm, weapon...use them all..don't really go out of my way to use a certain word, just, and in public my GF has adopted "Emergency kit"
Like: "do you have your Emergency Kit?" My deer as firearms.

I like when the original case and manual make sure you keep the box, it helps....
The way I see it is manuals are online, and cases are cheap really care because I usually You Tube the takedown anyway .
They add some value for older firearms.
