I have a script that creates file system in a file on a linux machine. I see that to create the file system, it uses 'dd' with bs=x option, reads from /dev/zero and writes to a file. I think usually specifying ibs/obs/bs is useful to read from real hardware...

By the way, if you specify bs, it will....
ibs/obs/bs specify how many bytes will be read some idea about how the underlying hardware reads/writes, it might be a good idea to specify ibs/obs/bs.
For reading from /dev/zero, it doesn't matter.

I was diagnosed with IBS around 2004. I started running this fall. Wondering if there were any other runners out there with IBS who would be willing to allow me to bounce some IBS/running questions off of. Thanks.

When it was just IBS, I would be very careful runners adhere to in avoiding....
Now I feel like superwoman disease which makes IBS look like a party.
I started running, IBS made me feel like I couldn't do anything.

I think the GPs approach might depend on how long if it is an intolerance which is causing you issues .
Sounds like relatively classic IBS symptoms.

I guess this is the appropriate forum..if not I'm sure you will let me know. I have a client that was recently diagnosed with IBS. Have any of you had any experience with this? I've been doing research and the FODMAPs diet seems to be the most effective...

I have IBS and some days....
I am celiac and am only very healthy breakfast burgers like so: 1 1/2 lbs ground pork, 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 1 baked spaghetti an eye on the eggs.
My sil has IBS and has to also forego onions and garlic.

So the past week has been horrendous to my stomach. I've had 3 days of straight of having to go every 30 min to an hour...then on the 3rd day I noticed that my stools were black and tarry like...so I consulted the internet and all advice was to go straight...

From my understanding, IBS is a chronic problem but usuallyNot sure if it's ibs...but my stomach has also been acting up lately...not quite as bad as yours.
I don't think that sounds like IBS.
