WELL after a great MRI in March which showed shrinkage of the tumor. Fridays MRI showed regrowth in one area of the tumor. Avastin is still shrinking the main tumor but somehow one area is growing again. It looks like the next step is stereotatic Radiation...

I've only been on Fina for 5 weeks (first 4 weeks 1.25mg, bumped it up to 2.5mg ED now) so obviously it's too early for regrowth... But I'm still balding and it's pretty disheartening

Feeling like shutting myself at home for a long time
Though I know all I can do is hold tight and keep up thoughts like that.
Sometimes it just feels like the whole world is crushing you and it's very depressing.

I have read a great deal abou the hair regrowth after chemo. I have not come to a conclusion since people who leave these messages tend to do so during the first few months. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in dec of 2009 and finished with treatment...

Once she cut it, I was back to my straight hair, it grew in thicker, and now I look like I did pre and eventually they grew out....
She told me that the chemo grows out in your hair too, which is why it grows in like that.

Hey.
I've been taking Propecia and Rogaine for exactly one month today and took a photo . There seems to be loads of tiny dark hairs sprouting around my hairline which I'm sure weren't there before. Is this regrowth already?
You can see them more clearly...

Little hairs regrew like that on my temples as well, but they have stayed like that for about 1 year and half now.
That's about as far as I go.
Very good.
Are starting to sprout everywhere.

I am not a big fan of real greasy products, as I feel they retard .
The regrowth by clogging the pores--Light more natural oils are better..Like olive oil/coconut oil mixed and regrowth to that tail and mane.

Also, I use sulfate free products and do to you...it will grow back faster than you think .

I just got my wisdom teeth out, and am scheduled to have a jaw surgery sometime in the future (don't know yet if it will be upper or lower or a combination of the two, my surgeon won't know until my teeth...

Post surgery I am just now starting to have "granulization" (tiny bits of bone regrowth) on the x-ray even put the braces on until I have more bone regrowth because of the hole the tumor caused.
