Yes random i know but i am thinking about Steak as ill probably have it friday for the meal were going to for girl at works leaving do.
I like mine Medium Rare but i also dont mind it rarer than that lol

Did anyone catch the new show from Heston ?
In it he cooks a steak by flipping it every 15seconds as opposed to 2-4mins on each side ... pretty interesting
also he recommends leaving a steak in fridge on a cake rake for 2 days to dry it out, and taking...

Its also the reason that the average home cook can never replicate a gorgeous restaurant steak.
You should try drying your steak out in the fridge first-it makes a huge difference.

I'm talking premium loin on a grill.
You're also to assume this is a thick cut.
I prefer Medium because I feel I insure myself from an over or under cooked steak and when it is truly Medium it is delightful.

How do you grill your steak/chicken? What type of marinade do you use? Tips and tricks?
I like to use stubbs Texas Steak House marinade for my steaks. Usually let em soak in it all day.

Personally I like mine medium rare.
When the meat gets dry it looses too much natural flavour IMO.
