The easiest technique is: just make a biiiig....
You can use box-shadow , but it wouldn't work cross browser: http://www.css3.info/preview/box-shadow/

I want create a drop shadow around the canvas component in flex. Technically speaking it will not be a shadow, as I want it to wrap around the component giving the component a floating look. I may be able to do it with glow, but can anyone drop an line...

Hi, i was wondering if there is something like text-shadow for DIVs, we all know that text-shadow is only for dropping a shadow to the text, but i want a shadow for a complete DIV.
any ideas?

Actually you can do it with css3 on the newer, Opera, IE5.5 and up .
If you're using text-shadow you are using CSS3, so try the box-shadow property .
Alist apart has nice articles on it.
To get the shadow effects for divs.

Is it possible to make such buttons ( http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/6452/buttonslw9.jpg ) using CSS? It should be Menu, and PHP would just feed the text to html/css and css should take care of the design.
