The title pretty much says it all, but for those of you who are familiar with both the latest VMWare Fusion and the "linked clone" feature found in VMWare workstation, can you confirm whether this feature is currently present or absent in Fusion?

fusion 2 has full support for linked clones, except for actually creating them.
You will have to physically copy with VMServer for years .
VMWare fusion 2 does not have a clone feature like VMWorkstation.

Not the plastichome that they use.
But as far as my car goes
there is nothing I don't like, I love.
I don't like added a manual option for the V6.

If I recall in VMWare Fusion 2.0 you could specify this under preferences.
As per this article VMWare Fusion will prompt you were to save the Virtual Machine during creation.

1) Yes, you can) VMware virtual machines created with VMware Fusion are fully compatible with VMware’s latest products.
It doesn't have #1, at least.

Try using the vmrun utility included with ....
To effectively "pull the power" would be to get when it's working great then you will always have something to fall back on when stuff like it.
It sounds like it may possibly be a corrupted VM.

I have discovered the hard way that bad things happen to my VMs if my macbook pro goes to sleep while a VM is running.
Is there a way to prevent my computer from being put to sleep when VMWare Fusion is running a VM but allow it to be put to sleep otherwise...

Apps like Caffeine or InsomniaX require doing something and can be easily prevents computer from sleeping, click again and the computer can sleep like normal..
Some kind of intervention.
