Lille vs. Manchester United - Lille
Going to the LOSC/Man U match on Feb 20. I am staying the night in Lille and was looking for help on how to get from Lille to Lens for the match and back to the hotel after the match. I see you can take the train to Lens but it does not run late enough...

They put on a special train back to Lille after the match, so possibly they'll do the same again this time a any spares then thay are more than welcome to jump in the back from Lille to Lens with a few beers from Lille to Lens ....

Lille Europe v Lille Flanders
Does anyone know where each of these stations are in Lille?? I am going to fly to Paris (CDG) airport and to reach Lille direct you can either arrive at Lille Europe station. The two stations confuse me! I live in southern england near a regional airport...

Sorry, I forgot to ask "please"!) As far as I can remember there just next to each other, Lille Europe being the TGV (and Thalys, etc.) station and Lille Flandres is for regular trains.
From CDG it's straightforward: just take a TGV in ....

Taxi fare from Lille train station - Help!! - Lille
What is the approx' cost of a taxi from the Lille train station (the TGV train) to the Noyelles - Godault area (J17on the A1).
Very grateful for any help

30-35 km from Lille to Noyelles-Godault , Dourges station is only about 1km frfom N-Gand a 20-25 minute train ride frm Lille.
At a wild guess I would expect a taxi to cost at least 50€ for the whole trip for timetables.
I think it is safe....

It depends how short your legs are - but if they are very short, it could take up to 10 minutes to walk from one station to the other.

My legs are longish and there are new wheels on my bag.

To Lille or not to Lille?
If you had 4.5 days in Belgium and 8 days in Paris, with 1 day to spend where ever you wanted. Would you A. Spend it in Lille, B. Add it to Paris or C. Add it to Belgium (we are going to Brussels, Brugge, and Ghent)???

Spectacular.
However, as you have to travel to Paris somehow and would probably drive past Lille you could something for everyone.
Either Paris or Belgium - Lille is a place for a couple of hours or so - probably made famous by the nearby....

I was thinking to go to lille - means fly into paris and then train to lille dollars extra for the show in lille with 2 trains (paris/lille/london), hotel (no late night trains from lille to london)....

We've booked a trip to Paris from Lille for the day in June. On checking the booking it appears we travel out of Lille Flandres and return to Lille Europe. Are these the same station? If they're not is there somewhere to park within walkin distance of...

Is shut on Sundays.
Some restaurants also shut on Sundays.
The only area for shopping in Lille from the centre of Lille.
But be very carefull full of pick pockets looking for tourists but great of Lille on a Saturday the Sebastopol....

We are travelling to Lille tomorrow for the weekend from Kent , UK which is covered in snow and I know snow is forecast for Lille too. Can anyone tell me whethere there is already snow on the ground in Lille or how much is forecast? Just need to know ...

Im going this weekend too!!! It says on the bbc website that they have got heavy snow all saturday and saturday evening, does not say inches tho...hope the euro star is working!!!!
