Torrents can be a bit of a PITA if you just want one song,

How Safe Are P2P Sites? I've used LimeWire, but not really that much. I'm concerned about picking up viruses or other things that could harm my computer. How safe are P2P sites in this respect?

LimeWire is a P2P application not a site to the best of my knowledge, I mainly use torrents "heuristic scanning" seems to solve the problem.

I (used to) have LimeWire installed on my system, and I accidentally opened a file called "Setup.exe" from a download.
Anyways... now LimeWire opens automatically and tries to send a file (God knows what) to others. I have uninstalled...

Use the Arrow key to ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears.
Reboot into Safe mode key.
