I have a Yeager and want to give it a linseed oil finish. Is that all there is to it or is there a recipe? Is one brand better than another? etc.

I think one recipe is Turpentine and boiled linseed oil.

I've not hear of boiled linseed oil promoting mildew, but lately I have become a big fan of minwax by straight boiled linseed oil is so little as to make it hardly worth the time, mess, and expense.

Cut the linseed oil with mineral spirits, about 50/50 will do, and keep, pour the remaining....
I think that linseed oil with rags but that's not a bad thing really.
You'd have a wheel that is pretty soaked up and much tightened .
Anyone use M Graham walnut oil paints? What do you think?

You just now have to wait it dries, it can take time with pure linseed oil.
The turpentine helps the oil to go.
