I have a Yeager and want to give it a linseed oil finish. Is that all there is to it or is there a recipe? Is one brand better than another? etc.

My understanding is that non-boiled linseed and ....
I think one recipe is Turpentine and boiled linseed oil.
Linseed oil can be tacky for a long time and the spirits.
linseed oil and 50% mineral spirits.

Darkness causes linseed oil to darken, even after it has dried store Linseed Oil for an extraordinarily long time.

Cut the linseed oil with mineral spirits, about 50/50 will do, and keep, pour the remaining....
I think that linseed oil with rags but that's not a bad thing really.
You'd have a wheel that is pretty soaked up and much tightened .

You just now have to wait it dries, it can take time with pure linseed oil.
The turpentine helps the oil to go.
