Not exactly a level playing field when fox, mpaa etc get to define the quantity and quality of content to vastly decrease, but things such as Linux are proof.

Its annoying but hopefully....
Google are being bitches and blocking one or a few of their servers .
Https://ssl.scroogle.org/ I tried scroogle for a day, but when they are unable to connect to google or google is blocking them I can really use it to search .

Who would actually want to sell those.
Phones with pure linux will come with the unlocked bootloader by default.
This will push/encourage pure linux phones to come into the market.
This might be a good thing.
