I've read things going both ways, saying 1 box/cat is required, while others talk about 2 cats sharing one box.
We're getting a new kitten on Saturday and already have another box, but I can't think of where in our house to put it

Any better self cleaning litter boxes than the cat genie? it doesnt fit in my tiny bathroom, and the laundry is outside, my cats indoor only.

You could buy those litter box liners that have the little tiny holes in them that when you go to clean out the box all you have to do is pop up the liner and the good litter sifts thro and the poo a litter box....

I don't know anyone boxes but everybody will use them all.
My personal opinion on hooded litter boxes is that you shouldn't even bother.

My 13 yr old cat is peeing outside the litter box. I switched from clay to sand litter recently. Suggestions? Could it be because I switched from the clay to the sand litter? Suggestions on how to correct this? Perhaps I should switch back to the clay...

Has your cat ever slept in the litter box?
My indoor cat has done that a few times, not sure what that means. She is getting old, but she will sleep in the litter box even if it is dirty.. it is nasty!

What cat litter do you recommend. We have 3 cats and so I spend alot of time keeping the litter boxes clean. However, we still have a smell. Have used Tidy Cat, also tried the new Arm and Hammer. It was too strong.
Appreciate any suggestions.

I stopped at either Family Dollar or Dollar General and picked up another litter box clumping litter....
litter boxes, at least at first, so June (TEENY at the time) wouldn't find herself far from one when she needed it.
